In
deference to
those wishing to both get in a little exercise & still see the Gators I
will be riding Saturday, September 27th MEET: At the
Chevron
station
on the corner of PARK: In the
Chevron station, along TIME: Meet at 8:30 am for an
8:30
am departure. THE
PLAN:
Expect
approximately 18 miles at 15 mph on the flats. As always: helmets are mandatory, mirrors are
recommended. About the LoBees Lo Bees will obey all We do not ride more than two abreast on open roads.
Cyclists are expected to form one line on the far right side of the
road
whenever cars approach from the rear. Lo Bees will not leave any member of the group
stranded. If someone needs mechanical help a member or members of the
group will wait with them and provide any assistance they are able
to. At times distances may form between riders due to riding
speeds that particular day. The group will wait at all turning points
along the route to let participating riders regroup. This will assure
that no one makes a wrong turn and gets separated from the group.
More
importantly this will enable us to be sure that all riders are still safely
with the group and are not stranded behind with mechanical difficulties or
may
have even been tragically involved in an accident on the
road. I hope to see you
there, Thanks…
Bob
