On Sunday Oct 11, Strays will ride about 30 miles in the Flemington, McIntosh area. This is a warm up ride for the Strays 45 mile ride on the Horse Farm Century ride day.

This is the 'Mommy'   ride encompassing as many hills as that area has to offer in 30 miles. In addition to being a real workout, this is also a very scenic ride.   Its some of the pretty Horsefarm country that you won't get to see on the Horsefarm Century.

There will be an option at the end of the ride, for anyone so inclined, to do a couple of extra sets of Dungarvin Road before we head out to the restaurant.

Arrive at the park in Flemington at 9:15 am to depart at 9:30.

Speed 2.5 - 46 mph, depending on terrain. Average speed has typically been 11 - 14 mph in recent times. This ride is quite hilly, so our average will most likely be 11 mph or below.

There will be at least one convenience store / rest room stop during the ride, and possibly an additional should it be needed.

Post ride the hungry will head to a local restaurant, probably Rocky's Villa. Decent Italian - Mexican cuisine at a reasonable price. Rocky's is on 441 about a half mile north of 318.

NO pace lines, NO racing, NO wheel sucking, just a fun social ride.

Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones and music machines forbidden.

Safety  protocols  are  always  observed on Strays rides
