To all my "fellow" breast cancer survivor-cyclists and friends:

In reference to the email I sent out yesterday about a custom-designed cycling jersey with the pink ribbon (breast cancer) logo.....the price of ~$75 no doubt seems steep, even though most good quality jerseys seem to run that much or more..........BUT, if we can get an order for 16, the price will drop to 61.25 per jersey, and i will pay the shipping myself, as well as for any possible additional artwork costs.  Just to make this happen.  I inquired about having everyone send her/his check directly to Louis Garneau, instead of to me, since the majority of you don't know me......but the sales rep. said that wouldn't work, and that we would need to mail in a check for the total order at one time, once the contract is signed.  If you are not comfortable with this arrangement, send me any questions that you might have for the sales rep. and i will forward them on to him.  He prefers to deal with just one person on orders like this.  Then you could always call the company's tollfree number to verify that all is legitimate.

Thanks for bearing with me.  I think the pink ribbon jersey has great potential among other survivors all over the place and I think "we" should be among the first to wear proudly wear it !!

let me know what you think!
