Sorry for the late notice…I was trying to decide if I wanted to drive to Fanning Springs to ride with Chandler.  I’ve decided to stay in town and will be doing my usual out and back on Millhopper Rd.  Please join me for the shorter ride and I’ll have maps for those of you wishing to put in more miles.

 

Saturday, April 9th:

 

MEET: At the Chevron station on the corner of NW 43rd St and 53rd Ave.

PARK: In the Chevron station, along NW 43rd St.  

  • Start at the north end and work south.  
  • Do not park in the slots alongside the station or along NW 53rd Ave.  
  • Please watch where you are standing; do not block the flow of traffic going to the pumps.

TIME: Meet at 9am

  • Ride briefing and introductions at 9:05.
  • Depart at the conclusion of the briefing. 

THE PLAN:   Ride west on Millhopper to 241, then north on 241 to the BP Station in Alachua for a total of 22 miles.  Anyone wanting a shorter ride, 14 miles, can turn around at the end of Millhopper.  Pedalers pace is 12-14 mph.  I’ll be doing the shorter ride today.
