Yeah I know you guys will be glad when this is over and you dont' have to deal with all my posts but what these riders are doing is amazing - no matter how long it takes them it is something most riders will never experience
Danny Stevens Sr has arrived at checkpoint 14 Dreaux - kilo1161  leaving appx 67 k to go - should be done in 4 hours or so I'm guessing - way to go Danny on a very very bum knee - one of the toughest guys I know - the only way to hurt him would be to shoot him and then I think he'd remove the bullet and keep riding.

Robby Stevens is moving along and has arrived at checkpoint 13 Mortagne - kilo 1084 leaving about 144k - appx 90 miles to go - hopefully about 5 hours or so - I'm proud of all  of these guys - I have many miles riding with them and am truly impressed not only with their physical abilities but their ability to survive mentally when the body is sending all kinds of signals to get off the damn bike and go home. When they get back I've got a bottle of champagne for them - don't know if they'll want a French one *LOL*

Jim Wilson has gotten to checkpoint 12 at 1002 k leaving a lovely 226k to go - 142 miles - maybe ten hours or so - truly impressive as far as I'm concerned

Our GCC riders are representing themselves and the club very well. This is a truly extraordinary feat - super human by my standards. Maybe in four years some of us will attempt it - who knows.
I'll keep all informed as I learn more.
