April 2, 05.          Strays Craig, Dave, Barb and Larry get ready to depart from Flemington

On Saturday March 17, Strays will ride about 30 hilly miles, in the McIntosh area. This is intended as a prep ride for those who will be planning to join the Strays on a return to Sugarloaf on March 31.

Arrive at Flemington Community Park at 10:15 am to depart at 10:30 am. This should allow temperatures to get above 50 before our ride start.

Speed 2.5 - 46 mph, depending on terrain. Average speed has typically been 13 - 14 mph in recent times, but given that this ride is very hilly, it would make more sense to expect an average speed of below 12 mph.

There will be a convenience store / rest room stop at about the midpoint in the ride, and another stop if needed.

Post ride the hungry will head to a restaurant for lunch, most likely Rocky's Villa.

No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social ride.

Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones forbidden.

Safety  protocols  are  always  observed on Strays rides
NEW RIDERS  must read  the  following  before  joining  us:
