Good morning Team VetMed and GCC members,

TVM is doing its usual Wednesday evening ride tomorrow, weather permitting. If there is rain a follow up e-mail will be sent out around 4:30pm to 5:00pm to let everyone know. In case you didn’t hear yet, TVM is now officially a GCC Group Ride. Linda “Chris” Sanchez who is the faculty advisor for TVM is the Group Captain and Huan Dinh and I are both Ride Leaders. What this does is offer the GCC insurance benefit (check with GCC for details of what is provided) to any GCC member who rides on a TVM ride and gets hurt. We hope it will also bring more GCC members out to participate in the TVM rides. Roger Pierce got the group set up on the GCC website, so check it out.

The Wednesday evening ride is an awesome ride and a great way to shake out at the end of the day mid-week. Dump that stress, jump on your bike and peddle around 28.5 miles when we do our usual route or 31.5 when we do the slightly longer one coming back in on Short Wacahoota Rd to Williston Rd rather than closing the Prairie on 441. Give the ride a try. We meet around 5:15pm right in front of the Vet School Administration Building on SW 16th Avenue and there is plenty of parking. We roll at 5:30pm. If you are running a few minutes late getting there from work you can call me on my cell at 665-6100.

Hope to see y’all out there tomorrow.

Mike
