Good morning mountain bikers,

The scheduled limerock/dirt road mountain bike ride for 9am today has been canceled due to poor weather conditions. Even if it clears up in the next few hours, the roads will be quite sandy and wet resulting in poor riding conditions for riders and their bikes. Guess I will be riding the indoor trainer today... boring!  I will plan on rescheduling this ride for next Saturday.

If anyone is interested in riding at San Felasco tomorrow (Sunday) morning, I will be there at 830am to ride.

Fellow mountain bikers,

Our ride is still on for 9am tomorrow morning, however if it is really rainy, please check your email before heading over to Jonesville to meet us. I will post any change in plans to the GCC listserve by 815am - if indeed the conditions are poor, I will reschedule the ride for 11am.

Hi Everyone,

We will have a limerock/dirt road ride for mountain bikers (on mountain bikes with knobby tires or road slicks) on Saturday, December 5 at 9am. This ride is mostly flat, good for building fitness and endurance for the upcoming Tour de Felasco and Ididaride Mountain Bike Events. Distance will be from 30-60 miles depending on what the group wants to ride, on limerock and dirt roads between Jonesville, Alachua, High Springs, and Newberry.

Meet at the Jonesville Publix on Newberry Road/Co Road 241 in Jonesville at 9am. Park in the parking lot out near the road, away from the shopping center if you drive.
