Pedalers will ride the lower part of the Horsefarm Ride Sunday,  December 13th, starting from Flemington Park north of CR 318, just off of CR 329.  Meet 9:00 a.m. with ride start at 9:15 a.m., weather permitting.  This ride is through a beautiful part of horse country, and we will modify it to end up with about 37 miles.  There is a convenience store at approximately 2/3 of the way in case of nature calls or junk food cravings. 

To reach Flemington Park, take I-75 south from Gainesville to the first exit south of Micanopy, CR 318--Petro Station.  Turn right onto 318 going west and travel 3 miles to a 4-way stop sign.  Turn right, go a short distance and turn left into the park. 

A non I-75 alternative is to take Hwy 441 south to CR234 just before Micanopy, turn right (south) and follow it until it becomes CR329 as you cross over into Marion County.  Go approximately 8 miles after turning onto CR234 from Hwy 441, then turn right into the park just before the 4-way stop sign at CR318.
