Strays take a break on the Nature Coast Trail bridge over the Suwannee River. April 29, 2006

On Saturday November 11 Strays will gather at the Depot in Trenton for a  30+  mile ride on the Nature Coast Trail. This ride will take us over the Suwannee to Old Town, to Fanning Springs State Park, and maybe part way to Chiefland, almost entirely on rail trail.

Meet at 8:45 am for an 9 am start.

Speeds 5 - 36 mph, depending on terrain. Average speed has typically been 13 mph in recent times. This ride is completely flat, so our average may creep up towards 14 mph.

There will be convenience store / rest room stops in Old Town, and in Fanning Springs, and also Chiefland, (assuming we go there).

Post ride the hungry will head to the former Boarding House to join the EZ Riders for lunch.

No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social ride.

Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones forbidden.

Safety  protocols  are  always  observed on Strays rides
NEW RIDERS  must read  the  following  before  joining  us:
