Hey boys and girls,

 

HighBees are going to do a make up ride on Sunday. Same ride as Saturday, but cutting it to 40 miles and staring at 1:00pm. See below.

Day: Sunday, October 30th

Time: 12:45 pm meeting, 1:00 pm departure (Should be 70 degrees at 1:00pm)

Meeting Place: Parking lot across the street from Conestoga’s Steakhouse on Main Street in downtown Alachua. 

NOTE: Following the ride whoever wants to can join us for lunch at either Main Street Pie (the pizza kind, not the apple kind) Company or Conestoga’s (based on a vote of those having lunch). Both are within 100 ft of the parking lot.

Route and Mileage: We will do a derivation of the Ellisville ride totaling 47 miles starting at the above location.  The route an be found on MapMyRide.com at http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/55932522/?new_route=1

Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 18-19 MPH; a little faster when we want to and a little slower when we want to. Most rides average around 19 MPH. This is a friendly, no drop ride; we re-group at all turns when needed.

Membership Requirements: Please note that HighBee rides are open to all GCC members who wish to participate; but you may ride with the group as a guest of one of the members to try it out.
