Special Note Concerning Future High Bee
Rides
Posted By Me In an effort to keep to everyone happy about High Bees rides
posted
by me, kindly understand that those riding with us rightfully expect that
the
rides will be maintained at a 16-17 mph pace. Therefore, in all of my
future online GCC ride postings, please expect to see this reminder.
Further, I will ask those present before the ride starts if they anticipate
riding
in excess of the 16-17 mph pace. For those that do, kindly plan to
leave just
before the main group does. Those of us remaining will start and
maintain
our ride at the posted 16-17 mph pace. Thank you for your
understanding. This week’s ride
info: Day:
Saturday, October 1st Time:
9:00am meeting, 9:15 departure (Note the starting time change for winter
months) Meeting Place:
Chevron Station, on the corner of Route and Mileage:
We will do a modified version of the Graham-Brooker-Lacrosse ride that I
estimate to be around 45 miles Pace:
The HighBees ride pace is about 16-17 MPH; a little faster based on terrain
and
slower on climbs. This is a friendly, no drop ride; we re-group at all
turns
when needed. If you are new to GCC
and
are looking for a weekly ride with a moderate pace and moderate distance,
please feel free to join us. Last week we had six
riders who endured some rain at the start of the ride. I think this
week’s
weather is supposed to be much better. Thanks, Mike No virus found in this outgoing message.
