Sunday June 11 Strays will gather in downtown Micanopy for a 20 mile ride which will include the River Styx Bridge, Evinston and McIntosh.

Meet at 8:15 am for an 8:30 departure.

There will be one rest room / convenience store stop, at about the 10 mile point on the ride.

Post ride the hungry will head to a local restaurant for lunch, probably Blue Highway or Crispers or some other good suggestion.

Speeds 6 - 28 mph, depending on terrain. Average speed has typically been 13 mph in recent times.

This ride is generally flat, but there are a couple of moderate hills on the ride.

No pacelines, no wheel sucking, no racing, just a fun social ride.

Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones forbidden.

To get to Micanopy from Gainesville:

Head south on 441 across the Prairie until you come to the first blinking light at the intersection with 234 (Angle Road). Turn right in to Micanopy on 234 and proceed about a half mile to the downtown area. Park near the large anchor in the median green space or in the spaces along the road before the commercial area. Shop owners get a bit miffed if you park in their shop's parking spaces.
