To all HighBees,
etc: Here is an e-mail from Jim Bain,
who
rides with the HighBees and is going to do R2R and go for the whole 100
miles,
but wants to do it at a 16-17 pace. If anyone wants to join him on the ride
please get in touch with Jim. Greg and I alsong with some others will be
there
and riding the 100 miles at a 15 MPH pace. Thanks, Mike From: Jim
Bain
[mailto:jbain2@xxxxxxxxxx] Hi Mike, I tried to post a similar message but
am
apparently too stupid to get it done. I have registered for the century as
well
but will probably try to ride it at the regular High Bee pace (16-17). If
you know
of anybody who might like to join me/us, please let me know as I DO NOT
want to
ride it alone! If you can forward this through the GGC site, I’d
appreciate
that too. Thanks so much. See you on Saturday. Jim Bain, From:

[mailto:gccmail-manager@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On
Behalf Of To all
HighBees: As you know this
weekend
is the Ride to Remember. I’ve decided to try R2R this year with the
goal of
doing the full 100 miles; my first century ride. Therefore, I won’t
be posting
a regular HighBee ride for this Saturday; but anyone else that rides with
the
HighBees is welcome to post one. I am planning to do the R2R century at a
moderate pace of around 15 MPH. if there is anyone that would like to join
me,
leaving from Boulware Springs (GHT Trailhead) and ride at that pace that
would
be great. Please let me know. I know Greg mentioned last Saturday
that he
was planning to do the whole 100 miles of R2R as well. I think tomorrow is
the
final day to pre-register online, but registration is available on site on
Saturday starting at 7:00am. Thanks, Mike
