Special Note Regarding This Week’s Ride: I had hand surgery on Monday and it is unlikely that I will be able to ride by Saturday; but Mike Warren graciously agreed to lead the ride this week and will have the ride map.

This week’s ride info:

Day: Saturday, March 21st

Time: 9:00am meeting, 9:15 departure

Meeting Place: Chevron Station, on the corner of NW 43rd St and NW 53rd Ave.

Route and Mileage: This week’s ride will be the Traxler ride which is 49 miles, although there are alternatives like coming back on CR 241 from Providence to shorten the ride to around 40 miles. It will be up to the group that rides to determine which route to take on the return.

Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 16-17 MPH; a little faster based on terrain and slower on climbs. This is a friendly, no drop ride; we re-group at all turns when needed.

If you are new to GCC and are looking for a weekly ride with a moderate pace and moderate distance, please feel free to join us.
