Mtn Bikers,

On Thursday, December 29 there will be a mtn bike ride beginning at the Santos Trailhead (near Ocala), meet there at 9am. (see map at: http://omba.org/index.php/Trailhead-Locations.html). The ride will begin promptly at 9:15 am so be ready to ride by that time. Allow one hour drive time from Gainesville. Please note that it will be a bit cold at the start (40 or so degrees).

We will ride the cross-country trails out past the I-75 Landbridge (approx 30 miles total). The majority of these (yellow) trails are flat and non-technical with a few exceptions (twister and maybe a couple other blue trails). If you decide to join us, please let me know ahead of time so I know who will be meeting us at the trailhead. If there is a large group, we will split into two smaller groups based on skill level. Also, anyone interested in carpooling arrangements, let me know ahead of time so I can help match up rides down to the trailhead.
