Wednesday July 4, Strays will ride about 27
miles in the Lacrosse, and Alachua areas.
Arrive at Velvet Yates home at 8:15 am for an
8:30
departure.
Average speed has typically been 12 -
14 mph in recent times for the Strays. This ride
is relatively flat.
Post ride the hungry will head to the picnic and pool party at
the
Edward's home. Be sure and let them know if you are planning to
attend.
No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social
ride.
Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides,
mirrors recommended, headphones
forbidden.

Directions to Velvet's Home:
From the intersection of 441 and 121 (NW 34th st), head north on 121
for
6.5 miles to NW 156 th Avenue. You will see a blinking yellow light above
the
intersection. Turn right (East) and follow NW 156 th Ave. for a half mile.
Velvets place is on the right as you come up out of the valley and approach
the
top of the hill, just before you get to the huge oak tree. 3425 NW 156th
