A tradition for well over 25 years signifying the start of the Florida Racing Calendar, The Battle of Olustee will muster troops at 9:00 a.m. Sunday January 22nd at the Holiday Inn corner of 441 and University avenue. It will head North on 441 then North on 121 at the Highway Patrol Station.

Ride length 115 miles with one brief food stop at about 45 miles.

Expect substantial acceleration with 40 hilly miles to go.

**** PLEASE NOTE *****
PARKING: Out of town visitors who are attending may wish to park in the Walmart Parking lot on 441 (2649 N.W. 13th Street, Gainesville, FL, 32609). The Holiday Inn is a short 1.7 mile ride heading southbound on 13th Street (441) from the Walmart.

Additionally, parking restrictions at the University of Florida are lifted on the weekends. Out of town visitors may wish to park at the O'Connell Center Parking Lot at the corner of University Avenue and Gale Lemerand Drive.
