I was hoping that our Off Road Director would lead a ride in the morning so I wouldn't have to, but she will be riding road in the morning and lead a ride off road after the picnic meal. Pretty awesome cyclist.  I personally don't do well with a full stomach combined with off road riding so I will lead a ride before the meal, planning to relax after the meal.

Strays will meet at the kiosk at the Cottontail and Cellon Creek South start point at San Felasco at 9:15 am for an approximately 9:30 am off road start.

Expect about 10 miles of  easy to moderate paced riding. The ride will likely include Cellon Creek South, Rattlesnake Hill, East West Powerline, Tungnut West (Dairy Road), Cellon Creek North and Cottontail. We may decide to take other trails depending on who shows up, and how strong everyone feels. Tungnut West requires the highest level of skill of the trails that are planned, but it is possible to take the bail out road at the start of that trail and knock off several miles from the total ride, for anyone who doesn't want to do Tungnut West.

We will finish before noon, in time to eat a fair share of the GCC Picnic food.

Helmets required. Safety is always a given on Strays rides. If you think its cool to endanger others with stupid riding, you should plan to ride elsewhere. Strays ride for fun, not to impress anyone or try to get hurt. Off road has enough natural dangers without adding more.
