Where: Jonesville Publix (CR241 & Newberry Road)
When: Friday, June 24th Meet by 6:10am for 6:20am Departure (EARLY MORNING PRE-WORK)
Distance: About 25 Miles
Speed: Avg 18 - Will reach up to 23mph

I will be doing one of my regular routes that starts from the Jonesville area and rides in the direction of Alachua, High Springs and Newberry. I typically ride in the early morning, within the 6:00am to 8:00am window, leaving from the Jonesville Publix Parking lot and arriving back in time to pack up, head home and get ready for work during the week. I have a few different routes that I ride ranging from 20-40 miles, and my typical average pace is 18mph with some areas reaching up to 22-23mph.

If you are interested, please let me know, as I would like to know if I should look for anyone before I head out on my next ride on Friday morning. I usually do these routes twice per week, always on Monday and then on either Thursday or Friday. Please meet me at the Publix parking lot on the east side of the Jonesville Publix between CR241 and Empower Park's Campus Credit Union Building and behind the Walgreen's at 6:10am for a 6:20am departure. I drive an old brown Dodge Ram truck and I always wear a bright fluorescent colored jersey. Please bring blinky lights if you have them as the sun is not fully up yet when I depart, even though it is light enough to see well. Of course, helmets are required. Weather is usually cooler in the morning but humidity also tends to be higher too so be sure to dress accordingly.

This Friday's route will start from the Jonesville Publix and head north on CR241 to NW 78th Avenue (which has plenty of rolling hills) and head west to 27/41 south (pretty much flat) to Newberry Road, then east back to the Publix. Typical time is about 80 minutes with no stops (bring plenty of fluids). I may actually do this one in the opposite direction since I haven't in a while.

I look forward to riding with any others this early Friday morning! I think I covered everything, but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!
