This has always been a popular ride and we haven’t done it in a while.

Day: Saturday, August 22, 2009

Time: 7:30am meeting, 7:45am departure PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM THE STARTING TIME LAST WEEK TO ALLOW A FEW EXTRA MINUTES FOR TRAVEL TIME TO THE RIDE START OR A LITTLE EXTRA SLEEP, WHICHEVER YOU NEED MOST.

Meeting Place: The parking lot adjacent to the fruit stand on CR 236 and I-75 in Traxler.  

Route and Mileage: We will essentially do the north half of the Santa Fe Century with a few changes to bring the distance in around 45 miles.

Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 16-17 MPH. This is a no drop ride; we re-group at all turns when needed.

If you are new to GCC and are looking for a weekly ride with a moderate pace and moderate distance, please feel free to join us.

Membership Requirements: Please note that HighBee rides are open to all GCC members who wish to participate. Those that are non-members may ride with the group as a guest of a sponsoring member once without being required to be a member.
