Our registration numbers are running ahead of last year (though it is early yet), so we are hoping for a good turnout for the Festival this year.

 

The deadline for ordering a special t-shirt (long sleeve, no sleeve, tank top, size XXL) is Wednesday.  If we don’t have it IN OUR HANDS when we place the production order for shirts on Wednesday afternoon, we’ll have to give you a standard t-shirt (we’ll order extras to sell to day-of-ride people).

 

We need a few more volunteers.  We’re still short three SAG drivers for the Horse Farm Hundred.  If we can’t fill these positions, we can reassign the pace car staff to SAG duty, and not have a pace car for the Horse Farm again this year.  We also need a couple more people at Flemington, another person at Lunch, and one more truck loader on Saturday afternoon.  Please reply if you can help.

 

Please sign up for the Festival through the Members Area on the club web site (http://gccfla.org/).  This increases accuracy and saves our input people work.  If you owe registration fees, you’ll need to mail your entry in.  Volunteers may not owe anything, and in that case won’t need to mail anything (but must sign up to get a shirt.)

 

We have some really nice shirts this year.  The Santa Fe shirt will be white, the Horse Farm shirt a medium blue for regular and long sleeve, royal blue for tank and no sleeve.  Don’t count on being able to get one of these day of ride!  (The Santa Fe shirt is by Buster O’Conner with inspiration from John Stokes, the Horse Farm is by Jeff Dofing.)
