![]() On Sunday January 14, Strays will meet at Velvet Yates home for
a 35
mile ride taking in Alachua, Traxler, Santa Fe, and LaCrosse.
Meet at 9:15 am for an 9:30 am
start.
Speeds 2.6 - 46 mph, depending on terrain.
Average speed has typically been 13 -
14 mph in recent times. This ride will include some hills,
but its
mostly flat.
There will be convenience store / rest room stops about every 10
miles.
Post ride the hungry will head to a restaurant for late
lunch.
No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social
ride.
Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides,
mirrors recommended, headphones
forbidden.

From the intersection of 441 and 121 travel north on 121 for 6.5 miles
to
156th ave., this intersection is marked with a flashing light, and there is
a
produce stand on the left. Turn right (East) on 156th ave and proceed about
a
half mile to Velvets home. The house will be on the right just before the
huge
oak tree. Park in the yard.
