Craig:

Thanks for leading the trail ride at Oleno.  You made my first GCC trail ride fun and a great test riding through soft sand I am hooked.  Also, want to thank Leslie for letting me borrow her mtn. bike without that I would not have enjoyed this fun ride.

Even though there are many ingredients in your chili recipe I will attempt making it hope it will be as good as yours.

Thanks GCC another “Great” chili picnic kudos to all!!

What a great picnic today. The dessert table was especially awesome!

Here are my pictures:

I had several requests for the link to the recipe for Emeril's Turkey and White Bean Chili that I brought today. Here it is:
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/turkey-and-white-bean-chili-recipe/index.html
Those who expressed an opinion that Emeril's recipes have too many ingredients should probably steer clear of this, even though it's very easy to make. And I don't care much for cilantro so I left that out.

I also had a discussion with some about a recipe I recently saw for homemade Black Bean Burgers. It ended up being in next month's Gourmet magazine. And here it is:

It was great seeing everyone today.

Happy trails.
