Because of the cool temperature forecast for Saturday (morning low in the 30s, high of 62), we will meet at 1pm for a 1:15pm start from the Flemington Community Park. Expect a ride of about 40 miles through the horse farm country at 16 mph. If it is raining or looking like rain, the ride will be postponed to Sunday at the same time and location. At this point, however, the Sunday forecast is for rain and Saturday is likely to be dry.

As a special bonus, Carl and Jan Brush are likely to be present, having finally decided that, in spite of global warming tendencies, the midwestern winters still aren't conducive to biking at this time of year. The six inches of snow on the ground was the evidence they couldn't ignore.

Flemington Community Park is one block north of the corner of CR 329 and CR 318 in Marion County.
