On Saturday March 3,  Strays will meet at Velvet Yates home for a 30-34 mile ride taking in Worthington Springs, Santa Fe, Lacrosse and Alachua.
 
Meet at 10 am for an 10:15 am start.
 
Speeds 2.5 - 46 mph, depending on terrain. Average speed has typically been 13 mph in recent times. This ride is pretty flat.
 
There will be convenience store / rest room stops  about every 10 miles.
 
Post ride the hungry will picnic at Velvet's house. Bring a sandwich, drink or whatever for a post ride meal. If the weather is decent, we will picnic under the big oak tree, so bring a picnic type chair if you like.
 
No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social ride.
 
Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones forbidden.

To get to Velvets Home:
From the intersection of 441 and 121 travel north on 121 for 6.5 miles to 156th ave., this intersection is marked with a flashing light, and there is a produce stand on the left. Turn right (East) on 156th ave and proceed about a half mile to Velvets home. The house will be on the right, just before reaching the top of the hill, and just before the huge oak tree. Park in the yard, look for the dark gray Mazda Millenium.
