Special Note Concerning Future High Bee Rides Posted By Me

In an effort to keep to everyone happy about High Bees rides posted by me, kindly understand that those riding with us rightfully expect that the rides will be maintained at a 16 mph pace.  Therefore, in all of my future online GCC ride postings, please expect to see this reminder.  Further, I will ask those present before the ride starts if they anticipate riding in excess of the 16 mph pace.  For those that do, kindly plan to leave just before the main group does.  Those of us remaining will start and maintain our ride at the posted 16 mph pace.  Thank you for your understanding. 

This week’s ride info:

Day: Saturday, February 28^th  

Time: 9:00am meeting, 9:15 departure (Thankfully, some warmer weather!!)

Meeting Place: Chevron Station, on the corner of NW 43^rd St and NW 53^rd Ave.

Route and Mileage: We’ll do a modification of the Monteocha ride to Worthington Springs, then CR 18 to CR 237, then down to Lacrosse, turning on SR 121 back to NW 156^th Ave, then back to Hague, then 441 to NW 43^rd and back to the beginning. It looks like a 40 mile ride.

Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 16-17 MPH; a little faster based on terrain and slower on climbs. This is a friendly, no drop ride; we re-group at all turns when needed.
