Hi Everyone,

On Sunday, July 12, there will be an offroad ride at the Boyette (see info at: http://www.swampclub.org/boyette/). The Boyette Scrub Preserve is approximately 10 miles from Alafia River State Park (another well known mtn biking area), east of I-75, a bit south of Tampa. These trails are loads of fun, with something for everyone! Its a beautiful preserve with numerous lakes and shady trails in the woods as well as some open meadow riding opportunities.

The plan is to meet at Boyette at approximately 9am, however this is flexible depending on what the group decides prior to next weekend. If you are interested in joining this ride, please email me asap. If there is very little or no interest, the ride will be officially canceled by Thursday evening so be sure to email me (before Thursday). We will also be arranging carpooling as this is a 2 hour drive from Gainesville. Be sure to bring plenty of water as the facilities at the trailhead are limited and do not include running water.

As a side note, I also plan on trail running after the ride - anyone wanting to join me for a run, be sure to bring appropriate gear (shoes, hydration pack, etc).
