On Saturday February 10, Strays will ride about 33 miles, on the
Gainesville Hawthorne Trail, to Phifer, and the River Styx, then
to Micanopy and back.
Arrive at Boulware Springs dirt lot at 9 am to depart at
9:15
am.
Speed 2.5 - 46 mph, depending on terrain.
Average speed has typically been 13 -
14 mph in recent times.
There will be a convenience store / rest room stop at about the
midpoint in the ride.
Post ride the hungry may head to a local restaurant for lunch, most
likely
Emilianos.
No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social
ride.
Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides,
mirrors recommended, headphones
forbidden.
