If you want to learn bike repair, get a cheap bike$3-10 and take it apart, and put it together.
Many of the mechanisms on your expensive bike are the same design on yard sale bikes, and it is good to practice on something cheap.

The Kickstand, Gainesville's co-op community bike shop, is having a garage sale on Saturday, July 24 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.    They are selling lots of used bikes (mostly $3-10), wheels and bike parts $1 and forks $2, as well as  chairs, tables and miscellaneous items.

The Kickstand is located at 722 South Main Street.  Because Main Street is under construction, you should access South Main from Depot Avenue.
