Sunrise Ride

MEET: At the Chevron station <http://gccfla.org/ridelocnw.html> on the corner of NW 43rd St and 53rd Ave.

PARK: In the Chevron station, along NW 43rd St.

Start at the north end and work south.

Do not park in the slots alongside the station or along NW 53rd Ave.

Please watch where you are standing; do not block the flow of traffic going to the pumps.

TIME: Meet at 7:20 AM (EDT)

Ride briefing at 7:29 AM

Depart at 7:30 AM...sharp!

THE PLAN: We'll be heading out Millhopper Rd and ride ~40 miles. The exact route will be altered from our regular one due to the road work being done on 235. We'll have the A-ride along with us for the first portion of the ride so we'll try to take it easy on them.

THE PACE: Usual Sunrise rules. Overall Average speed = 19-21 mph, regroup at turns, no speed limit once we hit 441 on the way in. (Back to the Chevron by ~9:30am)

THE LOWDOWN: By getting out earlier, the Sunrise rides offer less traffic, less wind, less precipitation and great company. There are no rest stops, thus maximizing our ride time. Get a 2-hour ride in and still get home in time to maximize your Saturday.
