Hipp-Dogg forgot to mention the Hipp ride is NOT a sanctioned GCC ride.  So that means you're out of luck for ride insurance, etc.

Regardless, be safe on those roads.

There will be attacks, shenanigans, hard group efforts and of course-fun!
The Hipp ride- good clean fun.  Just say no to dirty rides.

Subject: GCCMail: A-Riders Thursday Ride - The HippEST ride... Cyclo cross and MTB

Hi everyone,

Thursday evening, the HippEST ride is taking to the dirt roads on the North side of Gainesville!  Break free of the routine associated with multiple micro ascents of Dumpgarvin Road!  This will be a nice steady tempo ride, no attacks, no shenanigans.

When: Meet at 6pm, rollout at 6:05pm

Where: Chevron Petroleum Station, corner of Millhopper Road and 43rd Street

What: Cyclo Cross or MTB bicycles required.

Check out all the details of this ride here - http://www.gainesvillecycling.com/calendar.php?view=event&calEid=675

------------

Finally, for those who have no interest in riding the dirt roads, Douglas Folkerth may be organizing a North side road ride leaving at the same time and location as above.  Now that I've put you on the spot Doug, post a ride!

Yours faithfully,

J. L. O'Mahoney Esq.
