On Saturday Sept.3, Strays will ride a 30 - 32 mile ride starting from Traxler. This ride will include the upper middle of the Santa Fe Century, with Worthington Springs at about the mid point.

 

Arrive at 8 am for an 8:15 start.

 

Average speed 12-14 mph.

 

There will be a restroom stop about the midpoint.

 

To get to Traxler from Gainesville. Go north on 441 thru Alachua to I75. Take I75 north to the intersection of 236. This will be exit 404 from the interstate. The distance from the intersection of 441 and I75 to Traxler is just a little over 5 miles. Park in the area between the Chevron Station and the Florida souvenir shop. Other areas may get you in trouble.

 

Jay Ritter and the Lo Bees will be riding from the same area this weekend.

 

After the ride the hungry will head for a local restaurant, possibilities include Conestogas, Harvest Thyme, Floyd's Diner,  or Kazbors.

 

Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays ride, mirrors recommended. Any device which obscures hearing the calls from your ride buddies is strictly prohibited (headphones).
