Hi, Sunrisers, Hey, and Pete or Vickie,
if you want to get in on this ride for the camera...join
us... --- Here is one last mail with final details about the 19 Sept Sunrise ride video shoot. Recall this is being done for NFRMC and this "commercial" will be shown on local TV...which means TV20. There will be a longer version of all of the shooting on the NFRMC website. Questions? Email me separately off the listserve. --- 1 - Met at 715 am at HC Chevron. 2 - Pull out at 730 am when Scott Erker arrives. Go west on MH Road. 3 - Stop almost immediately on the right side of the road at an entrance road the photographers have selected for a group still shot. If necessary, Scott can catch us and be in the shot ;) You'll know where to stop because there will be 2 photographers there waiting on the right side of MH Road and at least one more who will meet us at the Chevron and drive in front of us to the shot location. 4 - Depart west, again, on MH Road. They will be shooting paceline shots as we head to 241. NOTE: If some of you are not riding the whole ~70 miles and could help us redo shots...that would be greatly appreciated. That means letting the group go, riding back up the road, then coming through again to reshoot. We may not need this service...but if we do, it'll be very important...and virtually assures you of being on camera. 5 - I'm assuming there will be a RT onto 241 north. I will stay with you...unless you turn west onto 78th...if you continue on, make a RT west, and go up and over Chestnut Hill...that would help me catch a draft up and over the hill...cuz I have turn around and get to ride back up over that sucker...keep in mind I no longer can really ride up hills faster than about 9-10 mph. At this point, you guys are off to a long sweet ride...thanks for helping me, er, us with this...it is wonderfully good for the club, too. I was wearing the old school GCC jersey with the green gator on it, I'll it again this Saturday...so consider wearing something like that to help advertise the club. Thanks to Jonathan Jones for previous emails to alert all of you to this opportunity. C U on Sat dark and early...Bob |
