Just
a reminder about the Sunday morning breakfast ride tomorrow since it is a
new
thing. If you’re interested in trying it, we’re leaving from
the
Publix at Jonesville at 7:30am for High Springs. See original post below.
Also,
since we’ll be stopping at the Springs Diner in High Springs for
breakfast, if you have any kind of bike like, like a cable with a lock that
can
lock a few bikes together, please bring it with you. I have one I’ll
be
bringing. Mike From:

On Behalf Of Sunday ride
info: This ride is of course in
addition
to the HighBee ride posted for Saturday. This is a new ride which I will be
occasionally posting. It will be a breakfast ride; meaning that the group
will
ride to somewhere, have breakfast somewhere in another town and then
complete
the ride back to the beginning. Day: Sunday, July 31st
Time: 7:15 am meeting, 7:30 am departure
Meeting Place: Parking lot in front of Publix at
Steeplechase,
on Eating Place: We’ll stop at the Springs Diner, on US
441 in
High Springs for breakfast. I called and they said they can accommodate us
with
a table for twelve or so. This is the former Fleetwood Diner, which before
that
formerly Floyd’s Diner. Different names, some menu changes, but the
same
building. Route and Mileage: The ride is about 36 miles and here is a link
to
the map: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/43105018.
Following the ride
anyone who would like to come by Dylan’s Grove is welcome to join us
at
the pool for a swim. Bring your suit in your car and you can change
there.
Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 17-18 MPH.
This
is a friendly, no drop ride; we soft pedal or re-group at all turns when
needed. Membership
Requirements: Please note that HighBee rides are open to all GCC members who
wish to
participate. Those that are non-members may ride with the group as a guest
of a
sponsoring member once without being required to be a member.
