Hi all,

My wife and I recently completed one of the most beautiful off road bicycle rides in the world: the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park outside Moab, Utah, and we highly recommend it to any cycling enthusiast. The ride is 85 miles. We took four days to allow plenty of time for touring, including hiking a slot canyon, viewing Anastazi ruins, and enjoying breathtaking views. (The trip can be done in less if desired. For example, tomorrow, the outfitter is hosting a one-day endurance ride.) We were part of a group of eight riders with two guides. One guide rode with us while the other drove a support 4-wheel drive vehicle, which carried food, water, tents, and all other supplies needed during the trip. Our guides were fabulous, and we recommend Magpie Adventures if you take the trip. Their Web site: http://www.magpieadventures.com/

We've posted a few photos from the trip on Picasa:

Here's a photo of us posing in front of a typical view:

If you have any questions or comments about the trip, including how we shipped our bikes, when to go, other rides in the area, and so on, please let us know.

See you out riding,  Tony and Lee
