Saturday the LoBees will participate in the annual Jingle Bell ride along with other groups.

Saturday – December 17th:

MEET: At Beef O’Bradys in the Millhopper Shopping Center .

TIME: Meet at 9:15 AM for a roll-out at 9:30 AM,

Saturday, December 17th. Breakfast will be served beginning at 8:00 AM at Beef 'O Brady's. Tickets are $6 each and will benefit the Police Explorers who gave us much help during our Cycling Festival.. If possible, please purchase tickets ahead of time by contacting either Officer Chris Jackson (352) 358-1988 or Officer Dontonya Smith at (352) 258-1753

 

PARK: Anywhere in the shopping center lot.  Try to stay as far away from the storefronts as possible.  Their customers will need to have access to the stores.

Expect about 37 miles at about 15 MPH on the flats

As always: helmets are mandatory, mirrors are recommended.

MEET: At the Chevron station on the corner of NW 43rd St and 53rd Ave.

TIME: Meet at 9:00 AM for a 9:10 departure.

PARK: In the Chevron station, along NW 43rd St. Start at the north end and work south.  Do not park in the slots alongside the station or along NW 53rd Ave. DO NOT use the business lots east of the Chevron on Saturdays.  Please watch where you are standing; do not block the flow of traffic going to the pumps.

THE PLAN: We will ride to Newberry & back. 

            Millhopper/241/78th Ave./US 27/SW 46 Ave./241/SW 15 Ave./241/Millhopper Rd.

 

Expect about 43 miles at about 16 MPH on the flats
