The HiBee ride that I posted earlier in the week is hereby cancelled. Rather than have two HiBee rides on Saturday, We are merging to join the ride that Ally just posted below. I plan to attend India Fest, but
want to cycle, too, so I am posting this as an alternate B-level
ride.

I'm calling this the "Curry if We Hurry" ride.
I plan to ride about 35
miles, at a High Bees pace, starting and ending at Santa
Fe College.
The route will be a modified 27/41 ride. Click here for a map of the
route.
Easiest way to find the Gym is to head west
on NW 39th Ave taking a left at NW 83rd St. Take a right on
North Road and you will come to the Gym, (Building "V"), which will be on
your left.
There is a map of the location on the India Fest
flyer.
Parking Lots 9 is directly across the street.
You could also just follow the "INDIA FEST" signs
that will be posted out on NW 39th Ave. Meet at Parking Lot 9, across
from the Gymnasium, at 9:00.
Ride will start at 9:15

Remember: you may need some means
(cable lock, etc.) of securing you bike while at the
festival.
India Fest is a yearly cultural celebration put
on by Gainesville's Indian community, celebrating the Spring holiday
called Holi (Festival of Colors).
Admission is $3 per person. Lots of great
Indian food, beverages, and desserts, as well as Indian clothing and
jewelry, will be available.
Bring cash (I doubt they have an ATM at the Gym), or
you may get in a few unexpected extra miles (Publix is just up the
road)!
Entertainment runs all day long inside the
air-conditioned Gym, with live music, singing, dancing, and vendors,
too.
This is your chance to buy that sari you've always
wanted!
