This week’s ride info:

Day: Saturday, March 28, 2009

Time: 9:00am meeting, 9:15 departure

Meeting Place: Parking lot across the street from Conestoga’s Steakhouse on Main Street in downtown Alachua. 

Route and Mileage: We will do the Poe Springs ride, of course with some modification that will change if from a 55 mile ride to about 45 miles. From Alachua we’ll go out Peggy Rd to NW 202 St, then north to NW 190 Ave, west to pick up CR 340, then south on CR 337 to CR 232 (NW 78 Ave), east to CR 241, then north to the beginning. This is a different ride that the HighBees have not done to the best of my recollection, which of course, may not be saying much.

Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 16 MPH; a little faster based on terrain and slower on climbs. This is a friendly, no drop ride; we re-group at all turns when needed.
