Free Flat Repair and Traffic School

Bike Works will hold a free flat repair clinic and traffic school on Sunday, May 15th, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The whole course will take 2.5 hours. We will hold a brief group discussion on vehicular cycling, learn how to fix a flat, then go for a short ride around quiet Town of Tioga practicing our traffic skills. At the end of the brief ride (about twenty minutes), we will briefly enter Newberry Road and practice our skills on a busy road with a bike lane. We may stop in for pizza at Blue Highway afterwards (bring your own cash or credit card).

All are welcome. Minors must have a parent or guardian present. If you don’t want to participate in the traffic school, show up at 2:30. Kindly RSVP adcousins@xxxxxxxxx, as these classes fill up quickly. Helmets are required. We have a limited number of helmets to lend. It will likely be warm that day. Dress appropriately for a shaded patio and a sunny ride.
