Thank you so much everybody for your help and compassion! I really appreciate it!!!! Several people asked for a closer description of my bike and I also was told to find a picture on bikepedia and send it out. So this is almost exactly how my bike looked like. It is a Fuji Crosstown. I bought it as a used bike last November (well actually, it was even a gift from my parents when they were here for a visit…). Mine had fenders, a rack and two collapsible baskets (black) in the back though. Also there was a shock absorber in the front. I am pretty sure I did not get the English terms for these things right, but I hope you still understand. I have a sticker with my name on the frame, if I remember right it’s on the right side, and it’s on one of the dark green parts towards the front of the bike, the sticker is see through and the writing silver. Thanks to everybody who emailed me with tips and ideas and thanks for keeping your eyes open or calling the police if someone tries to sell you a bike like that!
