The Saddle Tramps will ride Wednesday, June 22nd, from Micanopy on a route of about 35 miles. Park at the end of Cholokka Blvd., past the shops of downtown Micanopy, under the trees. Meet there at 7:15 a.m. for a 7:30 a.m. departure.

We will ride to Flemington on 234/329 (where there are bathrooms), then back up 329 to the "Zebra" Road, east on C.R. 320 to Hwy 441, turning at the Red Barn, (a famous landmark) for a "Tour of Boardman" and views of Orange Lake. We'll return past the Old Evinston Post Office on C.R. 225, onto C.R. 346, and finally to Micanopy past the Tuscawilla Preserve. This is a scenic ride mainly on country roads, with lots of wildlife. There are several places to eat lunch afterward in Micanopy if that is on your agenda. Bring plenty of water or sports drink, and a snack.
