Strays had a well attended ride today. Good time had by all.

On the ride we did see one very dangerous and not obvious road hazard that has the potential to hurt someone seriously. I almost hit it myself.

Approximately one quarter mile east of the intersection of 237 and 235 heading towards LaCrosse there is a square deep pothole about 10 inches across in the left side of the bike lane, about 8 inches in to the bike lane. If you are in the center of the bike lane you will miss it, However I know a lot of riders like to ride up against the white line, if you do so it will likely get you. It looks like it might have been cut intentionally by road workers, but it is not marked in any way and isn't noticed until you are right on top of it.
