Don't forget, the Ride to Remember is tomorrow.   If you haven't signed up yet,  you can still sign up on-line, or go to the start at Boulware Springs tomorrow morning.  On site registration is from 7-8 a.m. at Boulware.

For beginning riders who would like to explore the horsefarm country, Chandler will lead a slow ride on Loop #1 of the Ride to Remember.   This is perhaps the prettiest loop in north Marion County.

 

The beginner ride will begin at Flemington Community Park (see directions below) at 9 a.m.   Chandler requests that all participants register with the Ride to Remember, which you can do on-line (see website above) or at Boulware from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

 

To reach Flemington community park,   take US 441 south from Gainesville.  When approaching Micanopy, take County Road 234 south (right turn about 1/2 mile north of Micanopy)  and proceed south on CR 234.  County Road 234 becomes CR 329 at the Marion County line.  Continue on CR 329, (Flemington is 10 miles south of Micanopy)  and the park will be on the right, about 1/4 mile before the intersection with CR 318.
