Sometime this week, Raleigh Faust of Chain Reaction will be receiving a new shipment of Barb's pink ribbon jerseys.  Raleigh has pledged his support of the jerseys and the money they raise to help fund research of triple negative breast cancer, via the CSCRB at U.F.  You will now be able to buy a jersey at Chain Reaction, and all proceeds will continue to be donated to the CSCRB.
You will also be able to get jerseys from Barb, if Chain Reaction doesn't have the size you need.

For any of you who have been touched by cancer, either as a patient or the loved one of a patient, you might be interested in attending a meeting held monthly at the local American Cancer Society offices, in the Hope Lodge conference room, called Cancer Connections.
On Wednesday May 25th, Kris Roberts from Magnolia Park Shands Rehab and Shannon Blewett from Davis Cancer Center Shands Rehab will be presenting on breast cancer rehabilitation after surgery and during/after radiation and chemotherapy, including a portion on lymphedema.  If time permits, they will also discuss cancer-related fatigue and early/late effects of radiation therapy and chemotherapy.  They hope that their presentation will stimulate questioning and interest regarding physical therapy for the breast cancer patient and survivor.
Although the focus will be on breast cancer, the assessment and treatment they provide does apply to all cancer patients.  Bring your questions along!

Please join us if you can at NOON in the Hope Lodge conference room.

For more information please contact Barb Thomas  bnbbarb@xxxxxxx   or 377-4427
