Day: Saturday, January 23^rd  

 

Time: 9:00 am meeting, 9:15 am departure

 

Meeting Place: Chevron Station, on the corner of NW 43^rd St and NW 53^rd Ave.

 

Route and Mileage: We will ride the short version (35 miles) of the Monteocha Rides; going out to Hague, to Monteocha, to Lacrosse (rest stop), then Hague and back to the beginning point.

 

Note: This week’s ride is a little shorter since we haven’t ridden in three weeks or so due to the cold weather and then rain. This has got to be our week to ride. Cold weather is gone; rain looks like it’s gone. The Weather Channel says the weekend is going to be great!!

 

Speed: HighBee rides are typically16-17 MPH average. This is a no drop ride; we re-group at all turns.

 

If you are new to GCC and are looking for a weekly ride with a moderate (16-17 MPH Ave.) and moderate distance (Usually 40-45 miles), please feel free to join us.

 

Membership Requirements: Please note that HighBee rides are open to all GCC members who wish to participate. Those that are non-members may ride with the group as a guest of a sponsoring member once without being required to be a member.
