Dear Friends: On Saturday 11 June the EZ Riders will join the Hokey-Pokies in a concerted assault on the Nature Coast Trail, leaving the old train depot in Trenton at 8:30 AM. The depot is on North Main Street in Trenton, about 3 blocks North of the (only) traffic light. Trenton is found by going West on Newberry Road through Newberry. Takes about 25 minutes from West Gainesville. The pace will be majestic, slightly faster than the average motion of tectonic plates. Bring water, snacks, bug juice, etc. There are a couple of convenience stores along the route. We will ride to Old Town, and perhaps to Fanning Springs if you wish, for a total of 20 miles or so. Lunch after at Ye Olde Quilte Shoppe (which prefers us to call it the Suwanee Rose Cafe), where the staff tolerate sweaty cyclists. I will try to send a reminder next week.
