The Hokey Pokey group will visit the River Styx, Micanopy and the Oak
Ridge cemetery on a 22 mile ride on Saturday, June 25. The
groups should meet at the Rochelle parking area (see below) at 7:45
a.m. for an 8:00 a.m. start time.
This ride will be on quiet roads with cars. Hokey Pokies who
prefer to ride on facilities without cars (the rail-trail) should meet with
us at the same time, and join the EZ Riders, who will be doing a rail
trail ride.
Everyone is welcome to come on this ride (of course, you must
wear a bike helmet). Don't worry about being slow, no one is slower
than me and we never leave anyone behind.
The ride will be chaperoned by the ride leader who will ride at the
back of the group to make sure no one gets lost. The ride leader is
also a bicycle mechanic who can help fix flat tires and help with any other
mechanical problems.
