The Mighty
“B’s”
(which BTW are 3-0 vs the A’sJ) will be once again gearing up for battle on
Tuesday leaving the Chevron at EXACTLY 5:55 PM. Since we keep winning
we
must each Tuesday give them a smaller and smaller delta or they might take
their ball and go home. Can’t have
that. Here’s the
game
plan: Who should come
out? Anyone that would
like to learn to ride faster. No matter if your speed is currently
14/15
or 17/18 or even 20 MPH average. The whole purpose is to become a
better
rider. Might you get dropped. YEP, and probably some of us
will. But that is OK. What you will want to do is come out and
go
as hard as you can for as long as you can, and push harder then you thought
you
could. (BTW: ask Victor and Xeve from last week. They did
great. And
rode better than they thought they could)
Also, these rides
are
designed to TEACH riders that would like to move up, the POLITICS of riding
in
a fast pace line. Be it a single or a double, or maybe later on a
rotating. Here in an informal/friendly setting we can all learn
together. When: Meet at
5:45
for pre ride meeting Course will be 40
miles, see Jayson’s posting in a counter clockwise
rotation It should take
just a
little longer than 2 hours, but bring a blinkie for the ride
home Remember that
even if
the A’s do catch us, we can claim that due to the fact that some of
us
are very old, fat, out of shape, infirmed, and just plain lazy, we will
still
win!!! J The whole point is to have fun and become a
better
rider. See you tomorrow
night. Briar
