Strays stop for a picture on one of the Feagle Roads October  8.     Photo by Tom Sheehan.

Saturday Nov 19, Strays will ride 31 of the very most scenic miles of
the Santa Fe Century. This will include the Feagle roads. This portion is
never seen by people who do the 55 mile ride, or the Millhopper Ramble,
and is the very best of the entire Santa Fe Century..This is a repeat of the ride Strays did on October 8, but we may add a little variation from that ride.

Meet at 9:45 am for 10:00 am start.

NOTE the unusual start time to allow for driving and to allow temps to climb into the 50s. Our track will be largely in the sunshine on the first part of the ride, so we should be comfortable.

Ride speed 6-28 mph. Typical average speed for Strays in recent times has been 14 mph. There are some decent hills on this ride, but mostly its flat.

Park in Myrtis (Watermelon Park area). This will be at corner of the
convenience store parking lot at the intersection of US 441 - 41 and
county road 240. Park in the grassy area in the SW corner of the
intersection near the light. This way we will not interfere with the
business at the convenience store.

At the mid point of the ride, there will be a visit to Kelly's horse farm for a  water / restroom break. Bring your own mid ride snacks.

After the ride the hungry will head to Floyds Diner in High Springs for lunch.

Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones forbidden.
